I have worked with Heidi several times over the past ten years. During that time, my husband and I bought a house constructed in 1966 from the original owners. It was a brick and frame 4 bedroom, 2 and a half bath home that had had virtually no updating since 1966. It was very dark and had all the 60's avocado green appliances, linoleum, etc. "ICK" is what certain members of my family said when they saw it. Heidi was the creative force behind turning it into a beautiful, very comfortable, livable home for my husband and two teenage sons. My favorite part of the house was the kitchen. We stripped the space down to the studs and Heidi designed a new kitchen for us. She worked with us within our budget--and turned a dark, 60's kitchen into a beautiful and highly functional space. We had many challenges during this renovation and we could always depend on Heidi to come up with creative solutions. I could always depend on her sense of color and her knowledge of my personal taste.

Heidi Smith is an artist. I have worked with her several times and have seen a number of her design projects. I am always impressed and, quite frankly, amazed. Her designs are fresh and unique. She never imitates. When she puts together colors, textures and lines through choice of paints, wall and floor coverings, fabrics, furniture, accessories, cabinets...whatever...the results are always beautiful. I have seen her change the entire look and feel of a room with just a few modifications. And, she can even do stunning landscape designs! A true talent.
